Hi, I would welcome any suggestions. About 3 years ago I had a bathtub reglazed. Came out looking great but now paint lifting off bottom of tub. What do you think is the cheapest way to have repaired. Can another reglaze cover? Thank you for any help.

I would plan on replacing the tub. Reglazing may be one thing, but reglazing over the reglaze is another because you now have two surfaces that could let go. --68.107.xxx.xxx

I think the consensus here is that reglazing isn't very durable. Probably time for a new tub : ( --64.222.xxx.xxx

I live in the next city to one of the companies and have tried several additives, once something is dropped and moisture gets underneath it just keeps peeling out. Take the time to add a floor drain, put in a new tub and at least 55 12inch tiles to make your own surround, I just commented in a previous post I have now done several bathrooms tiled to the cieling and cleaning is so fast now. --68.76.xxx.xxx
