State Specific Question About: MINNESOTA (MN)

What should I charge a previous tenant for a washing

maching they left behind ? New tenants have their own set.

I do not live local so I will have to pay someone to remove it.

Thanks

I can certainly do that but the problem is

that I shouldn't have to deal with it.

It shouldn't have been left behind to begin

with. Which is why I was asking~

Ask the new resident to set it on the curb with a sign that says FREE. It will be gone in 6 minutes.

They have a moving dolly and help and are normally happy to be rid of it. Guys like dong this kind of stuff - proves we're macho!

If not, call a scrap metal guy ans he'll take it for free.

I charge $25 to remove such items, EVEN if the scrapper takes it. I had to check it, call him, make sure it's gone, etc...they purposely left it for YOU because THEY did not want to mess with it. --50.129.xxx.xxx

If you assume a normal distribution curve with a 95% confidence level and given the fact that it's a washing machine, it should take 8 minutes to disappear from the curb instead of 6. --75.162.xxx.xxx

no, Brad. if you put sign "free" it will be assumed something is wrong and no-one will take it. if you put sign $50, it will be stolen within a half hour. --97.94.xxx.xxx
