State Specific Question About: PENNSYLVANIA (PA)
How to find tenant who abandoned apartment, and the lease agreement is still in binding agreement...
District justice will not serve papers at his work, unfortunately...
Can a lawyer help? What about "People-find?" --need to get physical address. Evidently, he lives very close by, w/GF in the neighborhood. --208.101.xxx.xxx |

Check your state law for something like "substituted service" where you serve papers on someone else FOR the derendant, like the person who answers the door, or the receptionist at work.
Check also if service is allowed at place of regular employment.
If so, then you will have to get someone else to do the service. Are there other law enforcement service available? Sheriff, even off-duty policeman, registered process server?
If he lives very close by, in the neighborhood, why not serve him at home?
