State Specific Question About: VIRGINIA (VA)

Would I need a real estate license to manage my elderly parents rental property including 4 duplexes and 2 single family homes in Virginia. --72.84.xxx.xxx

No - have them give you a power of attorney. If you get $$$ you need a poa or a real estate BROKER license

Title them in an LLC first and then give you poa for each property LLC --184.5.xxx.xxx

IN law has something about ok for family members. If no pay it might be alright.

Changing title could mess up estate planning and lose the basis step up at death - worth thousand$$$ to the heirs. --174.253.xx.xxx
