It is best not to use your real name, too easy to google.
In CT there is a 10 day grace, ie due on the first of march , late on 11, you cannot sstart eviction until 11 in CT for monthly rental --99.20.xx.xxx |

NC has a mandatory 5 days grace period so our lease says late fees are applied to any payment received after the close of business on the 5th but that the rent is due on the first. Any rent not received on the first entitles us to issue a pay or quit notice on the 2nd.

also late fees can not start any earlier than 11. you are not allowed to have earlypayment discount for payment prior to first either!!! lotsa rules here. --99.20.xx.xxx |

In our lease there are no grace period.We have found out through the years it doesn't really matter. Our rent is due on the first, if it is not, we send a pay or quit notice the next day. --68.12.xxx.xxx |
