Well the best way is to never get in that situation... shelter is usually the first priority...

However you are on the right track...they are people too... and they may have been where you are now...

Think ahead and have a plan in place before the talk... trust is at stake here...

Perhaps get a loan from family or friends..

If the cause is longer term like job loss .. let them know as well..

They may live on the rent...

One of your options is of couse consider moving out.. please dont' make them go thru the eviction.. not fun for anyone

Adrien, It's always best to notify your landlord BEFORE the rent is due. I can work with tenants then, otherwise...if they wait until I call them because rent wasn't paid and is now late, I can't work with them and late fees apply...plus eviction in 3 days. --166.250.xxx.xxx
