I can't seem to find a 1099 Misc form to provide to my contractors online where I can type directly onto the form and print it out. All I can find are ones where I have to print it and then hand write on the thing. Does anyone know where I can find the form online that I can fill out and print?

Before I used QuickBooks, I bought the forms and software from Office Depot. I think the software was called TFP (although I'm not positive). Very easy to enter and print them. --24.171.xx.xxx |

Try filetaxes.com. For about the same price a the forms, I think, you can fill in the info and they print, mail, file, etc. It's great! --67.142.xxx.xx |

Wallace is correct. You're not finding fillable ones online because they very specifically do NOT want you to print them. The online version of the 1099-MISC at the IRS site says this:
"This form is provided for informational purposes only. Copy A appears in red, similar to the official IRS form. Do not file copy A downloaded from this website. The official printed version of this IRS form is scannable, but the online version of it, printed from this website, is not. A penalty may be imposed for filing forms that can’t be scanned."
So, they are very clear: you can't print it. You can't even print it and fill it in by hand -- you HAVE to get the official form.
You can order them from IRS for free from this page:
