Do you have a clause that states a tenant "Cannot increase landlord insurance premiums (ex: pools, playground equipment, babysitting, trampolines, etc)"? If not, add one ASAP --67.236.xxx.xxx |

If you have leases and trampolines aren't expressly forbidden it may not be possible to stop them during the current lease. If month to month or time to renew lease a simple letter forbidding Trampolines, Skateboard ramps , swing sets and swimming ponds are hereby forbidden. --99.103.xxx.xxx |

Rachel, "Trampolines are not allowed."
No explanation required. If it's not in your lease, explain it's a "policy".
If anyone complains, blame it on the insurance company because they WILL cancel you in a hot second when they see it.
Want more? "A trampoline was installed without permission. We will inspect in 7 days to confirm it has been removed. Thank you for your cooperation."
More? Insurance companies consider trampolines, swimming pools, half-pipes, skateboard apparatus to be an "attractive hazard", drawing children to use them without proper adult supervision."

A reminder to all residents the city/county requires protective fencing and insurance policy modifications which would raise rent by aprox. 275 per month, these types of attractions require additional insurance from each tenant, please comply by removing these items quickly, our workcrew will remove the ones left outside after Dec 5th and you will be billed for this out of the ordinary service. --68.76.xxx.xxx |

I agree with the others. Trampolines need to be gone YESTERDAY. You are in charge...act like it and tenants will comply or leave. Let them do get away with this, and you'll never have a leg to stand on if future issues come up.
Funny how they always have money for a $300 trampoline, but not rent or utilities. Guess that and the 200 channels of cable are "necessities." --108.222.x.xxx |
