State Specific Question About: OREGON (OR)

Tenant has live in Mobile Home park for 5 years with no rental agreement. Rental agreement, statement of policy, rules and regs was given to tenant 6-1-2011 to sign and return to landlord. Landlord has not gotten them back yet. Can the landlord give the tenant a 30 day with cause notice? --68.118.xx.xxx

What cause? why not issue a 30day for no reason, this is much easier for you and harder for them to create a reason. --68.250.xxx.xx

Hi Jackie..

Well Or. has some very specific rule for

'facilities' parks... ORS 90 has a whole section on just these parks and of course notice..

Also ORs 91...

2 choices.. get a lawyer who know LL park law

and/or as suggested give no cause notice in Oregon.. not hard and virtually no defence --75.139.xxx.xx

Just take a new application and agreement and tell them you need it updated and have them sign it in front of you,no need to create a problem --67.252.xx.xx

So, they are currently month to month since there is no signed agreement so you can end the rental with NO CAUSE needed. Type up a notice of termination that they need to be out by August 31. Then go to them and take a copy of the rental agreement you want signed. Let them know that they need to sign the rental agreement if they want to contine to live there. If they are not willing to sign the copy you brought at that time (they have already had over 1 month to think about it), then you leave the notice of termination with them. Then start looking for a new renter. --72.189.xxx.xx
