State Specific Question About: VIRGINIA (VA)
After careful screening everyone, my question is about having students with guarantors on the lease. I found a few good examples and have added language in the lease regarding this.
However, my question is what happens when I have three roommates each with a guarantor that need to sign the lease. That six warm bodies. They all live in the same state but it sounds impossible to get this all in the same room to sign the lease together. I've never done this before and wonder if I need to get the missing parent to sign with a notary? --108.48.xxx.xxx |

You can get it signed around by all parties before they move in, you can do this by mail or fax. Signatures in counterpart may also work. No need for everyone to be in the same room. --67.183.xxx.xx |

Since I had a bad experience with a Cosigner I now require that they always have their signature notarized --99.117.xxx.xxx |

Thanks for the quick responses.
Sorry, I don't know what "signatures in counterpart" mean?
