I'm thinking you're meaning company housing. Perhaps a new post with a little background will get you some experienced answers - never dealt with that, myself. --96.227.x.xx |

Cohousing is a kind of shared living arrangement where a group of people own their own units or houses on a large property, plus share ownership of common areas like a common dining hall, garden, laundry rooms, workshop, etc.
The main advantages are social: a lot of cohousing communities share dinners and activities in the common areas. The disadvantages are pretty much the same as having a home owners' association in a condo development. The units can be hard to sell and you have to negotiate lots of things with your neighbors, instead of just deciding things yourself.
Cohousing started in Denmark and has become a growing movement in California and the Northwest, with a few other communities around the U.S. and in other parts of the world. --70.143.xx.xxx |
