State Specific Question About: SOUTH CAROLINA (SC)

Any recommendations about using exterior door mats to cut down on dirt, etc. being tracked into house. Specifically, types, manufacturer, how to get?

thanks --70.232.xx.xx

I provide mats at all outside doors and carpet type on the inside. I stay away from the stiff bristle type because they shed. --72.25.xx.xx

I like the rubbery ones from Home Depot - they are a little bit more expensive than the furry shedding ones. They even have some that are shaped to go on steps, which are nice if you live in a muddy area. --76.30.x.xxx

I provide the rubbery ones with the short

nap on top to brush off the bottom is

thier shoes. Problem is renter moved it out of the path of waling over it. So they won't use it. I move it back and they move it the other direction where

no one walks or wipes their feet.

I even put one at the back door and found it in the trash after they moved in.

She decorated the back porch and guess she

thought it was the previous tenants. Both Came from Lowe's, are black and look nice.

That is a renter for you. --74.236.xxx.xxx

I got 16 door mats for apt. building. It looked so much nicer than worn out old ones or none at all.

For SFH, seems tenants use there own.

You might tell them at beginning that you have front and back doormats to help keep the inside fresher and cleaner. --76.125.xx.xxx

WaterHog mats work great. Simply hose off to clean. Look good for years. Global industrial.com sells them. Good enough to pull indoors in bad weather when showing homes. --66.189.xxx.xxx
