State Specific Question About: INDIANA (IN)

We are considering an applicant who is going through a foreclosure and has to vacate from a sheriff sale notice. We are asking for proof that they will not be obligated to the mortgage company in the future, and then they would not be able to make our rent. Getting something in writing is impossible they say, but we are leary to take them. They are going to file bankruptcy soon too. --64.12.xxx.xxx

Next, just say no - BK will make trouble for you every month and you lose the deposit in court fees. I should not have said next so fast, as I only take students pre-paid, this would work for me as a whole year pre-paid. --99.160.xx.xxx

This needs input from someone knowledgeable about IN law. It varies completely, state-to-state.
