Your own. Honestly, unless you live in major city... those rentals sites are not very good. --67.236.xxx.xx

First time LL, but I just rented a SFH by listing on CL. Listed for 1.5 weeks. Also had a sign in the front yard. Had about 15 calls total (I think a few were neighbors trying to see how much the rent was). But I did find good prospects and just signed lease. --152.26.xx.xxx

My rental property is in Orlando and I had no responses from my ads on CL. But, the apartments/rentals section in Orlando is busy & so it doesn't take long for an ad to fall off the first page.

In this part of CA we use CL and signs on the property. Ads in the local papers are a big waste of money - no applicant draw, based on our past surveys...we always ask how people find us. 75% tell us CL. --98.108.xxx.xx

Not to say that my friend Wallace is wrong, but I found that when I use Postlets in my Craigslist ads, my responses drop like a rock. The only thing I can think of is that people in my area must skip over those "realtor-looking" posts for some reason. --74.8.xx.x

Dan, I've gotten nothing but great results from postlets/craigslist. You might want to closely reexamine your ad or the area it's listed in.

If I'm not mistaken, we both have props in the same demographic and postlets/craigslist are a godsend. My props are in Fall River - lower middle class.

TW, Have you compared responses between Postlet and non-postlet ads? Like you, I do get responses from Postlet ads, but when I do an Apples to Apples comparison running two ads with the same information (one Postlets HTML and one just plain text), the Postlets only gets a 1/3 of the responses that the plain text ad gets. I ran that test several times and stopped doing the Postlet ads. --74.8.xx.x
