First of all, click on the link above and become very familiar with your state statutes.
It sounds like you are a newbie landlord and this will be your first eviction. My best advice would be to contact a flate ratte eviction attorney & let them get to work for you ASAP. --12.237.xxx.xxx |

In NY state you give a 3 day notice to pay or quit(move)After the 3 days you need to serve a notice of petition and notice to recover which will tell the tenant when to show up in court.Everything needs to be correct and served within certain time frames.I would suggest an eviction service or an attorney till you have the proper forms.Where in NY are you located --67.252.xx.xxx |
