rejected applications
former tenant history

I keep mine with the tax papers. Tax papers go, so does the leases, applications, rejections, etc. Might be over kill in terms of length of keeping them.
But I have had a LL call me about a tenant from 5 yrs ago. Had to sweep the spiderwebs out of my head to access that data.... --98.115.xxx.xxx |

The fair housing people like to wait a year or two so you don't remember the details about a call or application. Then they want a few thousand from you to go away.
You could always scan it onto a CD and get rid of the paper right away. Legally a copy of it from CD would hold up in court in OH. --151.213.x.xx |
