State Specific Question About: IDAHO (ID)

I want to see my tenet move as soon as possible. I will be giving them written notice but worry they may get mad and retaliate by hurting my property. What is a good approach to let them know they have to move which out getting them angry? Is 30 days sufficient notice? Any suggestions or experiences are appreciated. --74.81.x.xx

If they are MTM 30 days notice is all that is required. Give'm some sad story as to why you need the house back distant PG Cousin needs place to live and well it's family so what are going to do? I know that may not be the truth but is it better to tell'm you can't stand the sight of them and like you say risk retaliation ? It's a judgment call . --99.60.xxx.xxx

It depends on your state law, in CA for example you have to give at least 60 day notice if they have lived there for more then a year. In IL I believe you are required to give 60 day notice if they are on a year lease.

So find out what is required in your state.

As far as the reason for termination, I would just say I need this unit back... no explanation required, and I wouldn't give one. --24.6.xxx.xxx
