I spent 6,000 for a foundation repair(piers). Is this a repair or improvement for tax purposes? thx. --68.223.xxx.xxx

If they built new piers, then it would be an improvement. If they just added some support to the existing piers, it would be a repair. --76.18.xxx.xxx
