We are 17 and 19 and have a 1year old daughter!!

We are currently staying with my parents........ but they recently told us we had to pay 100 every other week.... And without job's at the moment we can't afford that.. We are willing to do some work for our stay until we get job's..

In about a month we won't have a place to stay.. We don't really wanna share because were over protective of our daughter and {no offence to anyone} don't trust a lot of people around her.. But were good people..honest..trust worthy.. and arent really big partiers because were responsible parents..

So if you can help we would be greatfull..

If not thanks for reading!!

Interesting.

I wonder how long you have to be a parent to be declared responsible. Is there like a month or two minimum?

I think the first thing responsible parents should do is get jobs and leave their child to be raised by strangers. --77.113.xxx.xx

Wouldn't it just be cheaper and easier to "work for their stays" AT THE PARENTS' HOUSE? That way, they wouldn't have to leave their daughter with anyone "not family"-no offence to anyone-sic --65.189.xxx.xxx

I don't think persons are supposed to make CL postings about other postings. However, the teen parents one did draw some other postings. Here is the first.

To: Mxxx and other idiot

Congratulations to your parents for finally showing some parenting skills. My guess is the $100 they are requesting of you is not to keep the lights on or food in the fridge (those things cost a lot more). They are trying to teach you how to be an adult. I know for a fact I can make $50 a week picking up aluminum cans, your "babies daddy" can do the same. I would also bet that while walking the road and picking up these cans even his tiny brain will figure out there is a better way to make 50 bucks. Its a good thing that you "arent really big partiers", make sure and put that on your job applications. Most upsetting is your total disregard and disrespect for your parents and all they have done for you. Your FREE RIDE has come to an end and now you need $50 a week. Ready for the real world? It will not be $50 a week I guarantee that!

I hope the older parents don't let that baby out of their sight for $50 a week because these two morons could result in a dead baby.

I agree they should take a stand but the poor baby will suffer.

I would put up with the two loonie tunes for the sake of the grand baby. --76.99.xxx.xx

So how do they afford small parties with no jobs? Counting my blessings. Both my children personally paid for much of their higher education- it was their choice. --67.213.xx.xx

If they can't afford $6.66 a DAY to keep a roof over their heads, what the heck else do they think they're gonna do?!

And I'm sure momma's feeding everyone and letting them do their laundry there!

My goodness what kind of future are we facing?

Amazing how fertile these people are who can afford to play but can't afford $200 a month for rent. There are literally thousands of responsible infertile couples out there but it always seems that the intellectual giants have the most children. And with several different partners. It's a wonder any children at all grow up to be sane. --74.45.xx.xx
