I was reading some posts about tenant screening & noted that some state they put most stock in court records on potential tenants than credit reports, etc. How do you go about checking court records on people- where do you start, etc?

WA also has a lot of great info online. There is a metasearch for all counties at:

Also, many counties have web sites as well for more detailed information. Where are you located?

The best place to look is in the record room or the docket at the city/county/state courthouse, find out where your housing court sessions are held and visit there to learn the bulloney tenants try to pass off on the judge and learn what is accepted although different from state law, listen to the answers when someone asks why. --76.241.xxx.xxx |
