State Specific Question About: TEXAS (TX)
my tenant is three months behind in the rent. How do I swiftly evict a tenant in Texas. I don't have a full-time property manager, the person I use charges by the hour. --75.32.xxx.xx |

What part of Texas is your rental in, since you are so far away, you will have to hire someone, if local to me, I can send you a number --173.74.xx.xx |

I would re-post with the title Texas Eviction so Texas LL's could help out. --72.25.xx.xx |

Tell us more. That "person" should have known what to do and then do it. Serve the proper notice. Get different help - and don't delay, call an eviction law firm which offers flat rate evictions and serving fees. You don't need that person - who just cost you 2 months' rent. But then, what were YOU thinking when the rent dried up? HOPING for a change of heart by the tenant? Maybe you should consider selling? --125.25.xx.xxx |

Texas is quick but long distance stinks, train a relative living close to do this. --76.241.xxx.xxx |

The property is in Fort Worth, Tarrant County. Any eviction law firms or other help you can recommend? I am in the middle of a short sale, but Citi is playing hardball. --75.32.xxx.xx |
