Maybe a clone to oxyclean?
The real cure is getting the smell out of the stink/stain magnet commonly called padding, peel open the carpet and observe the effect on the real floor, hard floors make easier cleaning than carpeting anyday. --76.241.xxx.x |

OdorXit is the product I use. Works great!
Removed foul(!!) cat urine odors from an abandoned 3 family. The smell was so bad I had to wear a respirator because the odor brought tears to your eyes.
Fixed the problem overnight.
Mix it with water and put in a sprayer. Spray all floors and up wall 2 feet.
If you're curious, you might try using an ultraviolet light to see where the spray is.

I pulled up all carpet before I sprayed OdorXit.
Documentation says you can spray over carpet, but I think cat urine would penetrate carpet/pad right down into the cracks between floorboards.
Don't forget to pull up carpet in closets too. --199.46.xxx.xxx |
