State Specific Question About: MISSISSIPPI (MS)
If you aquire an occupied foreclosed property, how much time do you have to give the former owners to get out? --204.19.xxx.x |

They should be out before you ever get it . When the mortgage company forecloses they usually evict. Having people out should be a term of closing on the property. --70.130.xx.xx |

check your state law, here it falls under the standard eviction process. You need to give them notices and then get a court order. Have you considered renting to them for a while?

Usually you have to evict through normal avenues but is determined by State Law. Going forward, it's usually not best to buy an occupied foreclosed property. Too many emotions involved to make it worth it to me. --66.32.xxx.xxx |

If this really went to court for foreclosure, go back and ask why the utilities are still on, then you evict for inhabitable without hot water for sanitation - that is the shortest path and almost every bank does this. --76.241.xxx.x |

I know what you mean about emotions. Any way the deal fell through. --204.19.xxx.x |
