State Specific Question About: TENNESSEE (TN)
Should a buyer be informed that property is in a 100 year floodplain at time of sale ?? --68.52.xx.xx |

Most definitely,...if you are in the FEMA 100 year floodplain,..the buyer will be required to buy Flood Insurance from FEMA.
My primary residence sits in a floodplain and as long as a mortgage is on the property, flood insurance will be required. --76.18.xxx.xxx |

I do not know if this varies by state or if federal law. I know in IN it is required by law to notify. Otherwise say nothing as they must do thier due diligence. --66.228.xxx.xx |
