Would you consider tenants that use Medical Marijuana - provided you accepted smokers in the first place... I adds pop up around here asking for it... the $$$ they are willing to pay for the place is attractive (2K/month for SFH!), but I'm sure they will also attract some problems, so what's your take on it?

Tell us more. How much is the fair market rent? I had issues when a pot smoker would let his friends come over to smoke, too.

Tried to get a cop to come in - he wouldn't. the smell was very strong inside.

With that experience, I might consider this - once I understand what the premium is for. --125.27.xx.xx

Yes to me it's no different than some one who needed morphine. I wish it had been available when My mother suffered for years with cancer. Of course we'll never know but having had something else that could have eased her suffering would have been so welcome as anyone who's cared for a Loved one knows . --208.189.xx.xx

Maybe I'm naive - and skeptical - but how are people on medical marijuana able to afford 2K a month? Could it be they are growing and selling the stuff?

And how about friends coming over with non-medical issues or needs and partaking of the stuff?

Lots of money in drugs - legal and illegal. But that's nothing new, is it.

However, in response to your first question, I don't believe you can discriminate if marijuana is legitimately prescribed by a physician whether you allow smoking in your unit or not.

The smoke will annoy and sicken other tenants. That would be a no for me. Maybe a single family home would be an OK rental.

Check with the cops in your area to see what they say about experiences with that kind of rental. --76.99.xxx.xx
