State Specific Question About: MARYLAND (MD)
Is there a specific cut off time for tenants to move out. I usually state 4:00 pm. Is this reasonable?
Thanks for any feedback

You are generous. My lease says 11:00 AM . Like a motel, I need time to clean for the next guest --208.94.xxx.xxx |

Mine says noon, but they never make it -- and it generally isn't worth trying to do much about it over a few extra hours. Sure, I could probably dock them some fee from their S/D, but it just isn't worth it to me in most cases. So, it might as well be midnight. heh. :)
I like to leave time in between -- so I don't have a tenant lined up to go in that day or the next day -- and I'm fine with that. I'd rather lose a weeks worth of rent than panic over getting things ready within a few hours or even by the next day for the new tenant.

I always leave at least a few days gap so I don't care about the time of day. --141.129.x.xx |
