State Specific Question About: DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA (DC)

I have decided to provide my housing for short term only. In doing so, should I request the total amount of the rent up front? The stay is usually for less than 3 months. Also, should there be tax added to the rent? How are the rules different? --68.50.xxx.xxx
