State Specific Question About: NEW JERSEY (NJ)
I am a landlord and own a multi family resident. I have a lease for single family house but where can I get a sample multi family lease (that include common areas and other related rules).
Thanks

I don't know about NJ but in CT you don't don't need separate leases for an apartment or a house.
You are renting APARTMENTS in a multifamily building. You add your own clause or clauses for the common areas that you wish to address.
I have revised and updated my original 2 sided legal size lease that has now become a 4 page lease. Copy your lease to your computer (MS Word) and you can make changes and revisions and add clauses and expand on an approved legal NJ lease.
My original(generic) lease from a lawyer in CT says "Apartment" also means "House" if applicable. Words "we", "our" "us" means the landlord, "you" yours" means the tenant.
