There are different standards of "cleanliness."
My husband used to do all the cleaning and fixing. (We had hardwood floors--no carpet.)
One tenant moved in and complained that apt didn't meet HIS standards. He had his girlfriend clean. "Now THIS is clean!." (And indeed the place sparkled.) HOWEVER, when he moved out, the place was far from as clean as he'd gotten it when he moved in. Guess he'd broken up with his girlfriend. LOL --64.12.xxx.xx |

What was the condition of the apartment when you signed the lease? That is the condition you can expect when you move in.
Take pictures of the unit. When you move out, leave the unit in the same condition that it was in when you moved in. --98.212.xxx.xxx |
