thanks - I ran a Criminal check on him and it's got @ 30 arrests - mainly with drugs. Can I legally say No, based on that. I do have on my Tenant Application a question asking if ever charged with a misdeamor or felony. Maybe that's not legal . . .

yes u can and should reject if they have 30 drug arrests.hopefully they have some convictions.i refuse if they have any drug arrests.maybe 1 case of pot smoking a few years ago i would let in.after all the president did this and he got in. --208.58.x.xx |

In most courthouse checks, the suspect is arrested then charges and court case - the ones that do not stick are off record. Double check with your online check, if conviction in last 5 years I just say no. --76.241.xxx.xxx |

even me got arrested (although innocent - I was 6,000 miles away when someone was blackmailing businesses). Was thrown in jail for a few hours, then let go. A bizarre experience (a room like a butcher's, tiled walls, rubber mattress, stainless toilet). They took my DNA and fingerprints and made mug shots. No apology - no thinking maybe this guy with houses and no mortgage who got a finance degree the previous year won't throw it all away by demanding 20 grand to be put in a glass Coke bottle and deposited in a hollow tree somewhere...)
Stay away from this guy - he does not qualify. You better try to adopt a pit bull which bit more than 30 people... --125.27.xx.xx |
