State Specific Question About: WEST VIRGINIA (WV)

I own rental property in an "unincorporated" area out side of the City of Charleston WV. I know that I am not required to pay the City any B & O taxes since it is outside of the city limits. But my question is do I have to register the property with the State of WV Tax department and are there any additional taxes associated with the property. I already pay higher county taxes on the property since it is listed as a Rental Unit. --167.239.xxx.xxx

I've never heard of such a thing, but I don't know. Unfortunately I don't think there are many Mountaineers on this board so you may not get a response. Ask around to other local landlords. --66.228.xxx.xxx
