State Specific Question About: NORTH CAROLINA (NC) I'm a landlord in NC and I have two props that were built prior to 1978 BUT they have been renovated, etc. What exactly do I need to provide my 'tenants' in these properties? Thanks!

Just give them the book, and make sure they initial the place on the lease that says they have it - this makes a great photo time in case some wanna-be smarty takes you to court over a false signature. --99.160.xx.xxx |

We give the booklet and have them sign the form for EVERY house, even a brand new one.
CYA. Anybody can sue anybody for anything and paper is cheap.
Make certain you have the form for renting,(available on this site) not the one for selling. --69.243.xxx.xx |

Disclosure is a must. If you know nothing about lead in the property then check that box.
