State Specific Question About: WASHINGTON (WA)
I have a guy who I have known for 10 years, he rents the shop in my back yard and 1 bedroom in my house rent is $50 for shop, 300 for bedroom, in the last 10 years he has paid me rent of $500 a year, I have just had a stroke and am returning home in a wheelchair I gave him a 30 notice to move and his time is up 01/13/2010. he has not said a word to me about moving he just stays out in the shed all the time. there is no rental agreement in writing but he knows I cant allow him to take advantage of me any longer.
anyway to wrap this up, he has not packed anything what how should i handle this? --71.20.xx.xx |

If you have given a valid notice to move and he doesn't move, you will have to evict.

unless you know the WA laws, there's a good chance your notice may have been defective. You might want to contact an eviction service such as ltservices.net
best way is often cash for keys, going to court will get the tenant out but only the lawyers really win
