State Specific Question About: GEORGIA (GA)

I have a tenant that skipped out on rent & left the place a mess. Too much work for a regular housecleaning company.

what are the companies called that do industrial type cleaning, ie, removing bags of trash & filth from homes, scrubbing the walls so they can be painted, etc.

any recommendations of companies that do this?

thanks,

Richard --68.209.xx.xxx

Find some guys with a pickup truck and a shovel. They will clean all that big crap out for not much more than the cost of gas and landfill fees. Then get your regular cleaners in there. Just tell them this one is a worse than normal and pay them extra. --66.228.xx.x

In my area we call on nieces and nephews local muscle, this operation is not in the phone book, you take photos and do it - the hand that has the best payout is on the end of your own arm. then your niece submits a cleanout bill and your nephew will probably have to repair drywall so your cousin can repaint the unit to rent again. --66.72.xxx.xxx

Richard,

I know the mess you are referring to. I had a tenant that never emptied the City supplied garbaage cans and just piled it up in the garage. It took 20 large plastic bags and 5 pick-up truck loads to get all to the dump. It can done with local people and will consume a whole weekend. --76.18.xxx.xxx

I set my hauling trailer outside a window or door and start throwing stuff out. Sometimes for a real bad mess, it is easiest to call around and have a dumpster delivered.

My 3rd floor apartments, I open one of the large windows and throw stuff out into my hauling trailer, everything that will fit. --98.111.xxx.xxx
