State Specific Question About: ARIZONA (AZ)

Tenant has been renting for 1 year. I own the home and live there. I believe Tenant is using drugs. Stays up all nite/morning making noise, tearing house apart inside and out . . . definitely a depreciation in value . . . forced himself inside bedroom of female tenant at nite through her bedroom window, stains carpet, leaves butane torches lit and walks away - I have two big dogs . . . acts very inappropriately . . . Long story short - I want him out yesterday.

If you ALSO live in the property * investigate "innkeeper" laws of AZ * you may be able to just change the locks --205.188.xxx.x

In Ontario, which has very, very pro-tenant and anti-landlord laws, if the owner shares washroom and kitchen facilities, then the local residential tenancies laws don't apply and said tenant can be locked out.

Check Arizona residential tenancy laws regarding your situation. --76.70.xxx.xxx

Since he forced himself into the bedroom of the female tenant, why can you not call the police and have him arrested?

Will she not testify? Or do you suspect the police won't hold him and he will be right back.

Great reason not to rent out rooms. --76.99.xxx.xx

I agree with Ally. He was breaking and entering into another tenant's room. Call the police. Because you live there also, Wallace is probably right. You can change the locks and get rid of the nut. He sounds dangerous. --74.45.xx.xxx

... or Heroin. Bad news, speak with different Police departments, including their drugs folks. Once, the guy on the other end had arrested the inherited tenants!!

you share fascilities, right? Pay the female tenant for a sworn notarized statement with a copy of her iD. ashe should also want this guy out like yesterday!
