State Specific Question About: KENTUCKY (KY
Does anyone know what eviction procedures are used in the state of ky? Would I need to go to the cour thouse to file or can I send an eviction notice by registered mail? I'm looking for something that won't cost me an arm and a leg.....Thanks --75.117.xxx.xx |

In every state, to do a legal eviction, you have to file proper forms, pay the fees for filing, at the courthouse. There are some preliminary notice to warn that you intend to file for court eviction, IF they do not correct the problems...but those actions vary from state to state.
Try clicking on the Lanandlord/Tenant State Laws link at the top of this page for more info about your state. --74.110.xx.xxx |

on my first rental, I didnt know the first step of an eviction and called the courhouse.
The recording on the courthouse phone voice mail said to serve a 3 day notice and so I did
I know its sad that I started this business not knowing anything and if I had to go back and do it again, I would have done it with some training. --71.203.xxx.xxx |
