State Specific Question About: WISCONSIN (WI)
My tenant has a extra dog that has appeared and she has told me on three septerate occasions and the dog is still there. what should i do about it. can i call the humane socity on it and get it taken away, its the little yippie dog and barks the whole time your there and she is gone. --99.17.xxx.xxx |

Evict the tenant for disturbing the peace and enjoyment of other tenants then avoid allowing in dogs in the future. Had someone call last night where they asked do you accept pets. Replied absolutely no dogs. Apartment living is apartment living it is beyond me why anyone would want to bring a dog in a apartment building. Common problems with dogs are dog mess on the balcony and lawn. A terrible stench in the apartment. Tenants go out then leave the dog locked in the apartment where the dog starts to bark disturbing the other tenants. One dog is one dog too many and too many problems --74.220.xxx.xxx |

Notice to cure - refer the the lease, enforce the lease.
What is it with tenants wanting dogs and then not taking care of them?

Take it to the humane society. Does this little dog stay outside? Isn't it very cold there now?
If she already has a dog and she is keeping inside and it is house trained, not destroying anything, then charge her $100 or $150 more for pet deposit-let her keep it. --74.42.xxx.xxx |

So it's only barking and yippy when you are there? Use this as a money making tool and tell her she has to pay extra for the extra dog as Rose (CA) said. When you get handed lemons, make lemonade.
