Evict the tenant for disturbing the peace and enjoyment of other tenants then avoid allowing in dogs in the future. Had someone call last night where they asked do you accept pets. Replied absolutely no dogs. Apartment living is apartment living it is beyond me why anyone would want to bring a dog in a apartment building. Common problems with dogs are dog mess on the balcony and lawn. A terrible stench in the apartment. Tenants go out then leave the dog locked in the apartment where the dog starts to bark disturbing the other tenants. One dog is one dog too many and too many problems --74.220.xxx.xxx

Is this dog #2? #1 is authorized and well behaved and #2 is driving you and fellow tenants insane?
Notice to cure - refer the the lease, enforce the lease.
What is it with tenants wanting dogs and then not taking care of them?
Call the city's animal control, to find the nuissance dog and write a report. You need not put up with this... --125.27.xx.xxx

I'd first try to get the tenant to get rid of this animal but after say 3 days I'd haul it off myself if that's what it took. --70.248.xx.xx

Take it to the humane society. Does this little dog stay outside? Isn't it very cold there now?
If she already has a dog and she is keeping inside and it is house trained, not destroying anything, then charge her $100 or $150 more for pet deposit-let her keep it. --74.42.xxx.xxx

So it's only barking and yippy when you are there? Use this as a money making tool and tell her she has to pay extra for the extra dog as Rose (CA) said. When you get handed lemons, make lemonade.
If you force the little dog out, the tenant is likely to go also and you don't want an empty apt. this time of year especially in WI! --76.99.xxx.xx

I couldn't stand that barking while I am trying to do work. Shut the stupid thing in the closet or something.
She has told you on 3 occasions? Why is your responsibility, make her take it away or take it away yourself. --71.87.xxx.xx

This is why urban areas have dog pound, and many are destroyed after a couple weeks with no adoption, this is humane thing to do. --68.76.xxx.xxx
