SHould I collect $30.00 from people who request application? --74.96.x.xx

tomorrow morning is too soon to get set up with a real credit agency. You are on your own for this one.

You can't use someone elses "license" with an agency and you can't collect the $30 if you can't run a credit report.

use the courtsearch page and zaba and facebook and myspace etc to check and INSIST that that they complete the whole application and then actually follow it up by contacting ALL references. Check the references too.

sure you can ask for $30 "application fee"

to consider - does your competitive set charge fees ?

By all means, you need to establish some sort of means to run credit/criminal reports, and yes, you can charge an application fee...however, in Maryland, if you charge for an application fee, if you charge over $25, you can only charge the actual costs... --70.106.xx.xxx

MK I'd be a WHOLE lot less concerned about the $25 fee (however you title it) than in actually following up on the information on the application.
