State Specific Question About: MARYLAND (MD)
I was wondering if most of you charge an extra security deposit for a pet and if so do you also charge an additional monthly rent for a pet? And what do you charge for what type of pet? Thank-you, Tricia --71.58.xxx.xxx |

My policy is that pet must come with family * size is not material. I take an additional $200 in security deposit that is NOT titled pet deposit. No pet that "leaves the family" may be replaced without approval. --64.12.xxx.xx |

No pets ever again if I can possibly avoid them, after my latest urine-soaked carpet from the unauthorized cat (you allow one pet and they must think you allow a zoo). --65.55.xx.xxx |

Nancy you're right . And I don't believe that you can charge a deposit large enough to compensate you for a ruined carpet and underlying floor damage. --70.250.xxx.xxx |
