I own 105 mobile homes which I rent. I have central heat and air units in all my homes and have a great ac/heat guy that works for me part-time. About 10 units have gone out this year (We maxed out on shortcuts and rigging) and I had to buy new ones at the cost of $2300.00 each. I feel that is a good price but has anyone ever used the larger wall units like you see in a lot of hotel rooms? That would cut out the stealing of the copper line sets which I had a problem with last year when copper got so high. Any ideas except central units.....Thanks!

Rooftop mounting has saved a lot of stolen metal by the midnite recycling gangs, the smaller 3 ton and below can hang on a wall bracket - this mounting looks ugly with a fence but wide spaced lattice can be used as visual camouflage if painted to match the house, cut old rubber tire treads for sound dampers on the wall mount. --76.241.xxx.xxx |
