My 6-unit rental building is up for sale with a broker.

Does the law state that the broker (or I) must give WRITTEN notice to each tenant each time they show the building to a prospective buyer? OR, does a phone call to each tenant legally suffice?

I can't speak for ME. For CA it must be a 24 hour advanced written notice to each tenant every time. --66.214.x.xx

Ask your broker. If he doesn't know, call one that specializes in multis.

It's in Auburn. The broker doesn't have a clue and is bothered by the "hassle" of having to make anything more than a quick phone call, IF THAT.

Thanks --74.65.xxx.xx
