State Specific Question About: WASHINGTON (WA)

I am a property manager at a large self storage facility. I have a tenant who meets all the requirements to have the property sold at our auction. The problem is it is a suv. How and where do I get the right info to auction the truck off with a without a title. I went to the dmv but they make no sense to me. Hope someone can help. Peace! --66.189.xxx.xxx

Go back to the dmv, they are the only ones who can issue title with lien, you need to study the laws in your local area before committing to manager status. --76.241.xxx.xxx

Check with your local towing companies. They know how to get titles on abandoned vehicles. Plus there are people who, for a fee, will get you a title. --98.162.xxx.xx

Adding to what Geo(OK) just said: get a local towing co to tow the SUV out of the storage unit to your storage 'grounds' (right there on your property). They can then go to get the title as they usually do and you can pay them for that title (they can asign it to you for a fee). You would have had to pay them anyway, just pay them a little more for their service. --140.140.xx.x
