Since he is a scary guy it's probably safer to just let it go although the insurance company is willing to let you put it in their name with their address.
I just had someone move and gave them their full security back as another tenant put it, "he is an animal and a maniac".
He broke a faucet right off when the handyman and I could not find anything wrong and his wife didn't tell us what the actual problem was.
Removed landscaping to make a garden and never did it but let it go to weeds.
Pulled out a section of tile that just needed regrouting instead of reporting that.
Pulled off weatherstripping moving something.
Caused sections of the countertop to pop off by putting hot pots on it.
Removed the walkin closet shelving brackets and pole and took everything but the pole.
Repainted the bathroom an odd color.
Claimed the toilet was leaking so I would come up there so his wife could tell me how much she didn't like the kitchen tile which is professionally installed and white with gray and blue design and is very nice. I stupidly called a plumber to check the toilet and of course their was nothing wrong so it dawned on me what that was all about.
And I guess there's more but I can't recall.
