State Specific Question About: GEORGIA (GA)
Does anyone have referals for a reasonably priced/fixed fee eviction attorney in Georgia? I have a tenant that's owing me 5 months rent and has refused to move. I realize now that I should have filed for eviction months ago. Pls help! --198.134.x.xx |

Five months? I won't say anything! The eviction law in Georgia is pretty straight-forward and most don't need an attorney to tackle it.
Make sure you post the appropriate notice demanding payment in full and then file with the court in your county. Do this fast before your tenant wises up and files bankruptcy. --72.147.xx.xxx |

Thanks. I have already demanded full payment, terminated the lease and requested vacation of the premises. I will go ahead and file with the court if there's no need to get an attorney. --198.134.x.xx |
