Heather, did you try checking the directory of property managers on this website. If you go to the home page, scroll down the left hand index, click on Property Managers. Last time I looked, there was four or five managers listed for North Carolina. Perhaps one of them could work for you.

This is a nationwide directory of Property Managers (in case those in other states may also be looking for a property manager). --70.161.xxx.xxx
