State Specific Question About: VERMONT (VT)

My tenant is approaching the end of there 1 year lease. We want to do a month to month lease with them. How do I write the terms for this. I want them to be aware if for any reason they are late or a bounced check on the rent they will be asked to leave in 30 days. --24.61.xx.xx

What does your current rental agreement have for the end of lease wording?

Many leases will either say that it would go to another 1 year lease or to become month to month.

Some states require notices of ending a MTM contract must be from the beginning of a month. Therefore a notice on the 15th would not terminate until the next month's end.
