State Specific Question About: DELAWARE (DE)

I live in NJ and have been managing my duplex in Wilmington DE for 4 years. Lic & inspections has informed me that since I am out on town I am required to have a in state property manager immediately to be in compliance with city regulations.

Can anyone recommend an inexpensive property manager? I need to find one today. I don't make much money on the property and they wouldn't have to do much work. I don't need them to do much righ now, but maybe in the future I would start to turn things over.

Any quick help would be appreciated.

If you intend to keep running things the same way, but you just need a PM "in name only" then ask a local attorney (hopefully you already have one) if you can name them as the PM. That is assuming that they aren't requiring some sort of licensed PM. Even so, a local attorney may be able to qualify himself as your in state defacto owner by using a power of attorney. --74.8.xx.x
