State Specific Question About: NEVADA (NV)
breaker went bad in service panel and needed to be replaced. Tenant is conplaining that I shut her electricity off without notice..Tenant is renting a room in our home. Service in her room and bathroom was off for a period of 2-3 hours until I could replace the breaker. Now she is claiming that she does not have to pay her portion of the electric bill at all. Is Tenant allowed to do this? --68.96.xxx.xx |

Check Nevada LL/tenant laws. In most states a tenant cannot withhold rent without the LL's consent. But, I'm not sure about Nevada. --66.32.xxx.xx |

Two hours rent is what $2? Give her two dollars and tell her that her unfriendly behavior is not welcome.
You may have to find someone else. --76.99.xxx.xxx |

I'm pretty sure the answer is No, And I'd get rid of her either way. --74.243.xx.xxx |
