State Specific Question About: ALABAMA (AL)
Does anyone know where to initiate process to have tenant evicted by the Sheriff? I have served termination and vacate paperwork but tenants remain entrenched!!!
The laws have changed so much in favor of the tenant, that I'm afraid to take any actions for fear of being sued!
Help!!!!!

Go to the Landlord/Tenant State Laws section (above the postings) and highlight your state.
Alabama is like Georgia; landlord friendly. Some of these landlord/tenant laws in these states seem ancient, covering issues that involve sharecropper situations.

Go to your township or parish court - whomever handles evictions for a property in that area. Ask the clerks. They are very helpful if you don't know what you are doing.
You might have to get an eviction attorney. --65.54.xx.xx |
