State Specific Question About: NEW MEXICO (NM)

I have a tenant who owes $200 for the month of April and owes $38.71 for each day in May. He was supposed to be out by now, but continues to use excuses to stay in the house. How do I remove him from the premises and collect the money he owes me? --207.200.xxx.xxx

Yes, get familiar with your state laws and sometimes you can ask the clerk of courts which local lawyer does a lot of evictions. don't call, go to the clerk in person. See if you can catch them when no one is around. They can't or shouldn't recommend anyone but thats not what you are asking. You are asking who does most of them. OR who does it for big complexes.

You can call managers of complexes and ask them if they use someone. Often they will tell you. You can also find "the" lawyer in town with a lot of rental property, they certainly have learned the ins and outs of evictions. --209.59.xx.xxx
